Worship Schedule

May 20 - "The Last Words of Jesus" Scripture: Acts 1:1-11. Hear again the last words of the earthly Jesus to his disciples prior to his ascension. We will celebrate the confirmation of three of our youth this Sunday. Come and join in the celebration.

May 27 - Pentecost - "One in the Spirit" Scripture: Acts 2:1-21; We will celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the first century church and upon our church in the twenty-first century. Come and catch the Spirit.

All are welcome at NOUMC as we celebrate the glory of the risen Christ.

Thursday, May 31 is our Monthly Community Meal!

The members of St. Richards Church are leading the preparation of this month's dinner at NOUMC. There is no charge, and reservations are not required. All are welcome. Come and join us for good food and fellowship. Serving begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. Call the church office for more information.

We Methodists love to host potlucks and more importantly... We love to eat! The first Sunday of the month is normally "Potluck Sunday." All are welcome.

For the past several years, NOUMC has entered a float in the North Olmsted Homecoming Parade. This year’s float highlighted our food ministry with full sized paper machete people seated around a dinner table. We built people representing each of the eight restaurants that donate food and people for the churches that partner with NOUMC on our Community Meal. The float carried titles: “North Olmsted United Methodist Church -- A Community of Caring ♥ Feeding Body and Soul.” As we celebrate our “winning” food ministry, we can also celebrate the submission of the winning float. This year the NOUMC float won “Best of Show/Grand Prize.”
